1. Youth ministries: Morning Star combines with St. Mark's Lutheran for many youth activities such as Vacation Bible School, weekly Youth Fellowship, ski trips, Sunday school, talent shows, etc. Morning Star also sends youth to Laurel Ridge Moravian Camp and Conference Center for summer camp each summer.
2. Adult ministries: Morning Star combines with St. Marks to hold weekly adult Bible Studies and also provides many unique fellowship opportunities, from fishing trips to women's candle trimming.
3. Community Outreach: Morning Star combines ministries with not only St. Mark's Lutheran but also ABCCM to provide many needed services to our Asheville area. Other recent outreach opportunities include volunteering at the women's shelter, visiting area rest homes and providing worship, music ministry for shut ins, Asheville's Relay for Life, Moravian church worldwide in Unity Prayer Watch and the Moravian Board of World Mission.
4. Worship: Morning Star currently meets for Moravian worship on the first Sunday of each month and for occasions such as lovefeasts and special services. Occasionally, there are changes in this schedule due to weather, scheduling conflicts with St. Marks, and other extenuating circumstances. We meet with St. Marks Lutheran for Lutheran worship on the other Sunday's of the month.
